The Time Warner Cable Arena (also known locally as "TWC Arena", is an entertainment and sports venue located in the Uptown (downtown) area of Charlotte, North Carolina. The arena also serves as home to the Charlotte Checkers, a minor-league hockey team that plays in the ECHL.
